I'm Sarah. I edit videos for brands, agencies, & creatives with a story worth telling.
I've cut work for Nike, Adobe, and Oregon Public Broadcasting, earned an Emmy Award, and pitched an idea that became an NBA season-opener commercial.
Across briefs and formats, it’s always about the feeling that lingers after the final frame.
Past clients
I grew up watching MTV on repeat in small-town Louisiana.
In my twenties, I chased music and movies through Minneapolis, New York, and Portland, working at video stores and theaters. Eventually, I got extra lucky with a job at the Portland Art Museum’s NW Film Center, where I began making experimental shorts and ended up with festival awards from Christine Vachon, Todd Haynes, and Matt Groening.
Then ad agencies started reaching out. Nearly two decades in, I've sifted through countless hours of footage, honing my instincts. I know how to keep things moving or let a moment hang, how to fit the puzzle pieces together and occasionally invent the ones that are missing.
Most projects don't stop at one video. One week it's a campaign hero video, the next a dozen vertical cutdowns, after that a short documentary. I'm at home in multiple formats, so I can see your project from the first idea to the last cutdown.
